This wedding slideshow was shot in the wetlands of the Columbia Valley in Invermere BC. It was a hot humid overcast day and it threatened to rain. Lisa worked to capture the brilliant moments of sunlight that peaked through the overcast cloud. She also was present long before the arrival of the wedding party and captured many of the fun and playful memories that happened before the wedding ceremony.
Wedding album: preserving your memories
Planning a wedding is a thrilling and exciting adventure with numerous details. For some brides and grooms, determining the format of their photographic memories is easy, while for others it requires research and reflection. There are numerous ways to preserve the memories. The traditional photo album with printed pictures is one format, while the coffee table album is a glossier and more permanent format. The third is digital and is growing in demand. You can preserve your memories in a slideshow, as well as, in other formats such as Facebook. Lisa will prepare your digital files for all of these formats. Your files will be given to you in high and low resolution format on DVD for you to use how you please.

About the photographer
Lisa has had a passion for photography and design since she was a young girl. In the seventh grade she began her passion for photography by working on the school year book. This continued until she graduated from high school. She works professionally as a communicator since graduating from university and, earlier in life, strayed from her love of photography. However, in 2004, she re-aquainted with her love for photography and design when she signed up for the New Media Production and Design Program at SAIT where she learned about art design, web design, digital pre- and post- production for both the digital age and print, photography, videography, and motion graphics. Lisa is fascinated with the integration of the multiple mediums that have become available since she was in high school. She's happy to guide you with what you might need to integrate photography with multi media.
